DÉCHIRER is a collection of unglazed homogenous porcelain stoneware designed by the world-renowned Spanish designer, Patricia Urquiola. Inspired by the nature of cement, DÉCHIRER's large format tiles -- available in both traditional and unusual, hexagonal shapes -- create distinct, yet delicate textures that evoke the presence of a time-worn material. DÉCHIRER means to tear, a fitting title for a tile designed to connote the sentiments of the memories that remain after something is torn away. These tiles are ideal for both commercial and residential projects, and as an alternative to cement. |
